Having trouble getting your kids to eat their veggies? Don’t give up! Try these tips: BROCCOLI – cut up the bunch in small florets and keep a 2” stem on each piece. Tell them they’re eating LITTLE BROCCOLI TREES that will help them grow tall and strong just like the trees at the park. DON’T boil or microwave them ---Steam them for the best flavor. A little butter helps too! Here’s another tip: Take the kids shopping with you. That’s right let them be part of the veggie buying in the Produce department. Let each child in your family choose a new vegetable each week for the whole family to try. Take it a step further and have them find you a recipe on their smart phone and they can help you cook it too. Who knows….you might have a future junior chef right in your own household.
