Directions Start stove at medium to high heat, add butter & mushrooms with a pinch of salt. Allow mushrooms to let out some of their juices & adjust heat to low. Cook for 15 minute or until mushrooms are golden brown & continue to stir. Add the onions & cook for 5 minutes or until they are soft & translucent. Stir in flour & mix for 2 minutes. Combine Thyme into a bundle & add garlic to the mixture. Mix in water & chicken stock. Simmer for one hour, then remove Thyme bundle. Blend the mixture of ingredients until the soup is consistently smooth & thick. Return to your pot & add cream. Serve & add salt & pepper to taste. Enjoy!
